TRAINING INFORMATION

INTERESTED IN PLAYING GAELIC SPORTS?

Come to one, or all of our Rookie Camps, and try them for yourself!

Charlotte GAA is both a social and sporting club.   We have something for everyone as we offer both recreational and competitive play. Opportunities to play recreational in the sports of Gaelic Football and Hurling happen at the local level through our Pub and Intra City Leagues – perfect for those looking to try something new, get active and meet new people.

For those looking to get a little more competitive, we also field multiple competitive teams in the sports of Gaelic Football and Hurling. These teams compete at regional and national levels with various tournament opportunities throughout the season.

Not interested in playing at all – just want to be social? Great, we have that as well! Charlotte GAA is home to over 200 members and have many social activities throughout the year ranging from bar crawls, sporting watch parties, BBQs, fundraising events, Irish cultural events, volunteerism and much much more!

WHAT DO I NEED TO TRAIN?

We recommend comfortable, weather appropriate, athletic clothing and a pair of boots, also known as cleats. Other than that, we’ll provide all the necessary equipment for you to learn Gaelic sports!

**Returning players must complete both USGAA and Charlotte GAA registration before training. New players may attend 3 training sessions without registration.**
